BART protests.

The BART protests at Powell station were another example of people coming together and standing up for what they believe to be fair.

The protesters were a mix of militants (as always) and those wanting to inform. Of course there was a fun element too. Their voice was heard and so was the chant of “No justice, no peace’.

There was an undeniable feeling that it was the passengers that bore the brunt of the inconvenience. Who could travel when the gates were shut, let alone leave the station.

Is a small inconvenience worth it for a voice to be heard?
